At the first day of post-season F1 tyre testing George Russell set the 9th fastest time with a gap of +3,244s to Valtteri Bottas, while Roy Nissany set the slowest time of the day with a gap of +7,636s.

All Formula 1 teams took to the track today to test Pirelli’s 2020 tyres. Each team could go through 10 sets of tyres, a mixture of both 2019 and 2020 tyres. Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas set the fastest time of 1:37.12.

George Russell ran for most of today’s session, while Israeli Roy Nissany made his Formula 1 test debut in the latter stages of the test. Testing continues tomorrow with Nicholas Latifi and Roy Nissany behind the wheel.
